Prince Edward Island’s COVID-19 Immunization Committee has asked us to remind you that you can make an appointment for your child(ren) who are 5 to 11 years old to get vaccinated at any one of the COVID-19 Immunization Clinics online at www.princeedwardisland.ca/COVIDforKids or by calling the COVID-19 Clinic booking line toll-free at 1-844-975-3303.
Children who are 12 years of age or older can also get vaccinated at one of the many COVID-19 immunization partner pharmacies (www.princeedwardisland.ca/pharmacyforvaccine for contact information).
The planned approach for supporting parents and children 5-11 years of age to get vaccinated included a mix of both community and school-based clinics. While the OMICRON variant has delayed school clinics, community clinics have increased the number of pediatric vaccination appointments available for children 5 to 11 years of age across the province.
